Momcozy W1 vs. Eufy S2 Pro: The Key Differences
1. Massage Style
Momcozy W1: Uses DuoRhythmic™ Massage with 5 micro-vibration units built right into the silicone flange. It focuses on surface-level stimulation that syncs with the suction rhythm to prevent tugging.
Eufy S2 Pro: Features VibraPump™ technology, which utilizes a physical 12mm vibration head to give a deeper impact massage. This is designed specifically to target specific areas.
2. Alignment & Visibility
Momcozy W1: Has a clear "top-view" cutout window so you can look straight down your shirt to see if you are centered.
Eufy S2 Pro: Features a see-through 360° shield design combined with a built-in Nipple Light so you can easily align perfectly in a pitch-black room during late-night sessions. I do find this one more difficult in terms of viewing nipple.
3. Charging & Portability
Momcozy W1: Comes with a dual-ended USB-C cable to plug both motors into the wall at once. The motor battery itself is huge and can handle about 6 heat/vibration sessions.
Eufy S2 Pro: Includes a Wireless Charging Case (similar to their S1 Pro’s). You just drop the pumps into the hard case and it charges them automatically. The case holds up to 6–7 days' worth of battery life.
4. Smart App Features
Momcozy W1: Allows you to control your cycles, heat levels, and choose the 30-minute automated "Milk Boost" mode from your phone.
Eufy S2 Pro: Features smart sensors that send an alert to your phone and pause the pump if the cup is full or if you bend over too far (preventing leaks). The app also features guided relaxation/meditation tracks to help induce let-downs. As well as many pump cycle options to choose from.
My Thoughts:
A lot of moms have to consider what they want, price point, & what matters to them. A lot don’t give 2 cents and just like simple features. Others appreciate a fuller package.
Either way here are my cons for each.
Let’s start with eufy & my biggest dissapointment, 5 oz containers. I know I know. Not many moms are pumping more than 5 oz but I am one and feel 6 oz has been such an improvement many wearable pumps are doing. I believe if eufy opts to make 7 oz containers like Willow does, they would be set apart in the pump world. I also wish the eufy’s came with dust covers. I don’t like that they market the massage to help clear clogged ducts, This can actaully make things worse. So this is just a marketing con. My eufy pros: night light, heat, & different vibration intensities. Long tunnel so it is elastic nipple friendly! THE POUR ON THESE ARE AMAZING (& slightly better than the W1’s) I used my Willow inserts. I feel their inserts were too short for me. They biggest pro is the automatic stop when they’re full. Chef’s kiss. When done pumping, it is a little harder to detach the cups whereas with the Momcozy W1’s they have buttons on the side for easy de-attachment. I feel these “empty” me 98-99% of the time. The case is an amazing add on just consider price. If they take my advice on the rest of the items and listen to me on this one thing, I would move them to my 1st rank shelf (I rank breast pumps). Their flanges are 24 mm & LONG (longer than the w1’s). If they make them in sizes 13, 15, 17, 19, &21 mm so a mom doesn’t have to use inserts, they are being moved to my 1st shelving rank ASAP.
Momcozy. The massage is more of a vibration that is a little too intense for me personally even on the lowest level. If possible I’d suggest they reconsider the level of vibrations. Another con, would be the cycles. On their V1 Pro, you have the option to select how long of a pull you’d like aka pumping frequency. Low, medium, high. I find that the momcozy is too fast for me in terms of cycle speed. (Think 54 vs 38 cycle on a Spectra) If able I’d suggest they do what eufy does in their app to allow the mom to choose what would be right for her. Just like eufy, they suggest the heat and vibration can help clear clogged ducts. It can make it worse. My Momcozy pros: the heat, easy de-attachment with containers, 6 oz cups!!! Thank you Momcozy for making 6 oz cups! Tunnel is long so elastic nipple friendly! I used my willow inserts. When you purchase on their website they also offer a free 1-on-1 IBCLC consultation. My main appreciation is the price point. Not cheap but still less than the Air 1’s (which are 379.99 USD).
The winner:
Whatever works for you. But I do have the eufy’s on my 2nd shelf ranking and the momcozy W1’s on my 3rd shelf. Both are great. I may reach for my eufy’s if I know I will pump less than 5 oz each but I may reach for my momcozy’s if I know I’ll be pumping more than 5 oz at least on one side. Again, consider price points. What works for me may not work for you. everyone has different needs!
